Safari keeps crashing, says it has 'encountered a problem...'?

Yes, my Safari browser crashes after only a few seconds of opening it. A dialog box pops up and says they have encountered a problem and need to close. It's been doing this every since I turned on my computer this morning. Really, the only thing I'm concerned with is getting my bookmarks from the browser, I have a large collection and I just want them to transfer. I'm completely fine with using Google Chrome or something else. But when i try to import bookmarks from Safari to Chrome it doesn't list Safari as an option to import from, only Google Toolbar and IE. I already ran a system restore and that didn't work and Safari won't open long enough for me to export the bookmarks. :| There's no error report offered after the crash and I don't know where to find it otherwise. Please help in any way you can! I really need those bookmarks!!
