Which would be more interesting: bookmark or piece of scrap paper (for a story)?

Say you went to the library and you found a book you wanted to check out. In it were two things: a professionally made bookmark with a book's title and author /and/ a piece of paper that looks like someone tore it off a bigger piece of paper, on it is scribbled, but still readable, a book title and an author's name. Which item, though they say the same thing, would you be more interested in?
