Itchy red bumps on pubic area?

I am an 18 year old female, I am not sexually active and am still a virgin. There are red bumps on my pubic area. They are no where other than on my mons pubis. They are red itchy and swollen. I shaved my pubic area roughly a week and a half ago and I originally had razor burn but it went away as my pubic hair grew out some. I am on my period at the moment and it is coming towards the end. Please tell me what this might be!!
