PAIN 5 days after wisdom teeth removed!? Is this normal?

Monday i got both my bottom wisdom teeth removed.Its now friday and the left side hurts way more than the right. The pain is kind of like an itchy,burning,throbbing pain, it also looks a bit swollen, not sure if this is normal?? Its also Canada day....clearly no dentist is available unless i go to emerg?!?! is this normal?
