Itchy bumps on my hands,thighs and back?

I am not sure who I should be asking. But for a little over a month now, everyday on my hands, thighs and back I have been breaking out in random bumps and they itch like crazy! I have some up by my pelvic area and now I have a few scabs from itching. It won't go away. I have no idea what it is. Can someone please help. I have a 7 month old and I am not sure if it is contagious or not. If I need to make a doctors appointment, I will. I just would like some feedback.
